Sweep!

I was lucky enough to be in Duluth, Minnesota to see the UMD Bulldogs not only defeat the defending NCAA champ Minnesota Gophers, but defeat them twice in the same weekend, for the second time this season resulting in the first ever season series sweep by the Bulldogs who in doing so took sole possession of first place in the conference thanks to another North Dakota loss. The Bulldogs also have the nation's longest unbeaten streak. They haven't lost since early December, and are quickly approaching the playoffs as the hottest team in the country.

Congrats, and Go Bulldogs!

If you have photos that you think would compliment my album, please email me and we'll get that done.

Super Bowl

I mildly enjoyed the super bowl this past weekend. The commercials were sub-par, with a few exceptions. For some reason I find great humor in the "ED" drug commercials, especially their health warnings. They kept telling me to ask my doctor if I need "X", without telling me what it did. I thought that was brilliant. As for the halftime strip tease, I watched the whole thing and didn't realize anything special had even happened. I was surprised to read about it in the paper the next day. My favorite moment has to be the streaker just before the second half. I did a bit of research and found he has his own website : http://www.thestreaker.org.uk/. It's very entertaining. Now that guy's got ambition and the will to follow through. That's admirable, although he may want to hit the gym or a tanning salon before he does this again.

The game was OK. I guess the Patriots won. Didn't the Packers beat them in a Super Bowl once?
