In this brief explanation of my thoughts on the sporting events of the day I already had a vision of a Green and Gold playoff picture. At that time the Pack were 1-2 and the Vi-queens were 3-0.

I just wanted to thank the Minnesota Vikings for choking once again. This year they waited until there was no time left on the clock before they let a virtually unknown quarterback and receiver combine to force them out of the playoffs in dramatic fashion.
The Arizona Cardinals receiver, Nathan Poole, has been invited to the Packer's playoff game in Lambeau by the mayor of Green Bay. He will also be presented the key to the city. Read more about it here. Local radio stations are having a pep rally in honor of his arrival! This is amazing! I have never waivered in my opinion and feeling that the Vikings were very able, and evidently willing to throw away all their fast start and potential and allow the better team, the Packers, to take the division once again. |
Ok, my site was down for a couple days. I messed up, then I got sick, but now everything should be returning to normal, even better than normal. I fixed my weather section. Now I am getting live feeds from weather.com. This If you click on the day in the forecast it will give you more precise detail for each day. Pretty neat, check it out.
It's getting close to christmas time once again. Who has started shopping yet? There's no need to. I am still of the firm belief that you don't really need to even start thinking about it until the 20th. By that time somebody has already approached you about chipping in for something for all the people you really need to buy for anyways.
Plus, it's not about the money, it's the thought that counts. In that case, my thoughts are with you all. (my money is in my pocket!)
Just kidding... Merry Christmas!
Jacob Koenen is the first annual first snow cover contest winner. He won $1000 in cash. It is only collectable within the next 24 hours in person. Since he lives in Kentucky, it's unlikely he'll be able to collect. But he will get a firm handshake and contratulations.
The first morning we had snow cover was my November 23rd.
Try again next year!
