Ok, the I posted something earlier about guessing the date of the first snow cover. Well, I think all the people that replied are already proven wrong. This weekend they are forcasting a good snow storm. (check out the 5 day forcast on the right)

It's getting close... and making me feel older by the second. My birthday is approaching (gifts, hint hint...) But anyways, the start of the holiday season. This means shopping for lots of stuff you don't get to use yourself. Sorry for being selfish, but it just lacks the same spark. I know that supposedly it's better to give than to receive. Well, what if you give and recieve??? I like me and think I deserve something nice for christmas that only I would appreciate. How crazy is that?
Well, the snow contest had a scare, but didn't quite finish yet. We had some accululation on Monday, but Tuesday morning I was still able to see the blades of grass sticking through the weak snow covering. So the first snowfall contest is still open.
