Well... we're deep into the football season, I mean they played and lost one embarrassing pre-season exhibition game, so about time to woop it up and start some trouble, right?! First they played a lack-luster game, in which their prized (mediocre) first round draft pick Chad Greenway blew out his knee for the year. Oooh, that hurts. So it looks like the coach gave them a day off before they report back to camp. In that time, Koren Robinson (who is a multiple time offender in the league's substance abuse program, and the Vikings rewarded with a multi-million dollar contract this summer) was spotted speeding on his way back to camp. From reports in the paper, it appears he was fleeing police, then cited for driving under the influence, driving without a license, among other citations forthcoming. I'm glad they didn't wait until October this year to start the mugshot parade!
At least this guy won't get a slap on the wrist, due to his prior involvement in the league's substance abuse program, it appears he's headed towards a mandatory year-long suspension.
Does anyone want to be on how long it will take for Bryant McKinnie to get arrested this year? He was only arrested twice last year.
Class act there boys! Go Pack Go!
